Marsha Yuan 原子鏸

Marsha has spent 20 years of her acting and performing career in Hong Kong. She is most known for her debut role as Yun Yun in the hit TV Broadcast sitcom, War of the Genders. She has also been in popular HK films such as, (Anytime Pictures) Men Suddenly in Black and Men Suddenly in Black 2. She was the leading actress in the musical film, (Double H Production Ltd) Cooking For 2 which was shown at the Hawaii International Film Festival. And in her later credits, she earned herself a Best Actor Nomination at the Manhattan Short Film Festival for, (Bebe Films) Do No Harm and has also fought alongside Jean Claude Van Damme in, (Ace Studio Odyssey Media) Pound of Flesh.

Her stage credits include, playing Maria in the Hong Kong Chorus Society Ltd. production of Sound of Music (in Cantonese), the ensemble for the 42nd St Broadway Tour in Shanghai, playing Madame Mao in the Theatre Space production of I, Ching in Los Angeles, the Hong Kong Musical Trio production of Songs For a New World and the HK3AMI production of Smokey Joes Cafe.

Since moving back to the United States, she has been a part of two festivals: Chain Theatre Winter One Act Festival and the ANT Festival at Ars Nova with the play, Tourist Trap. And most recently, she was a part of a new musical reading of Jury produced by The Farm (We Grow Theater).

She has done several of her own one woman shows, cabarets, and concerts. In the past 3 to 4 years, she has developed a love for jazz music and has been in the process of studying and learning more about it in hopes of having more opportunities to sing jazz in the future. She released a mandarin jazz album, Just For You in 2006 and hopes to release another jazz album in English in the near future.
